SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS TO HOST CARIBBEAN FOSTERING THE FUTURE TOGETHER CONFERENCE

Basseterre, Saint Kitts, September 23, 2026 (SKNIS): Saint Kitts and Nevis will take centre stage on November 13, 2026, when the Federation hosts the Caribbean Regional Meeting of the Fostering the Future Together initiative, led by First Lady of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Mrs. Diani Prince-Drew.

The announcement was made by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump on September 22 during a gathering of members of the Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.

In announcing upcoming regional events, Mrs. Trump recognised First Lady Prince-Drew for stepping forward to organise and host the Caribbean conference, noting that Saint Kitts and Nevis will have her full support.

The November 13 meeting will bring the Caribbean into sharper focus within the global coalition, providing an important platform for regional dialogue and collaboration around empowering children through technology, education and innovation.

Fostering the Future Together brings together First Spouses and other leaders from participating nations with a shared focus on expanding opportunities for children through education and the responsible use of emerging technologies.

Hosting the Caribbean edition further positions Saint Kitts and Nevis as an active participant in international efforts aimed at preparing young people to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
